It's time to ban staffies?
I found myself in the middle of a life-or-death struggle in the street, when my little dog (a border terrier) was bitten on the throat area and held by a staffie, which did not let go for about 30 seconds until I had punched it 3-4 times in the face. Between us its owner and I kept it from attacking again. The vet said the bite was deep and extensive but luckily an inch from the carotid artery, which supplies blood to the brain.
The owner was very apologetic and said the staffie had not given any cause for concern before, which is why he let it approach my dog. He accepted my dog had been entirely unprovocative. He has two children and so he's going to return it to the RSPCA rescue centre where he got it.
I know that staffie owners complain that their dogs don't deserve a bad press, but unfortunately the rescue centres are full of them, and perhaps it's time they joined the list of banned breeds

Staffs are very very useful

They help me identify people I'd never be friends with so it saves me time getting to know them. If some owns a staff there is a high percentage chance They'll be cunts.

Better idea: ban poofy cunts like Chigwell who have toy dogs which look like prey to proper dogs. If you want to walk a rabbit, just do so. Don't get a dog that looks like a rabbit.

There's something deeply wrong about a man with a little gay dog

One of my mates has a Staffie and you couldn't wish to meet a nicer, friendlier and happy dog. It's dog owners that are the problem. It ranges from the ego driven Chavs to weak wankers that the dog regards as a servant so ignores them except when it's food time.

I'd ban any dog bigger than a toy poodle out of cities. Dogs don't work in cities. They are shit machines and all dogs get aggressive without proper exercise to use their energy on.

most staffs are lovely, it's the owners that should be put down

When I rule the world it will be very simple.

You can have any dog you like as long as you keep it within the boundary of your property at all times.

If your property isn't big enough for your dog to be adequately exercised within the grounds, then get a hamster.

If your dog escapes from the boundary of your property and is caught, don't expect to get it back.

I got both my staffs from RSPCA rescue ones a boxer cross and the other is a lab cross both are amazing with kids ......if you take your dog out in public you are responsible for its behaviour simple as that

In some parts of the country the question asked is "ehat sort of dog should we get?"
In Basildon the question is "What colour Staffie should we get?"

Much better cheers. Been bleeding for 2 weeks due to a burst stitches. But that appears to be easing. Find out when my chemo is on Tuesday (one Session as a precaution)
